Overview

Slightly beyond the city limits, Edinburgh is blessed with the fantastic Pentland Hills Regional Park. This is ever present on Edinburgh's skyline when looking to the south 

During the walk we will walk alongside a few reservoirs, stroll through woodland and then up over a modest hilltop which has a splendid view of the city. You'll encounter an array Scottish wildlife and possibly pass some free pasturing highland cattle and sheep. This is the outing for you if you only want a short journey out of the city to get closer to Scotland's wilderness.
